LEVEL II: B.T.S. OPERATION FUNDS COMMITTEE
JOIN THIS COMMITTEE TO HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR THE B.T.S. OPERATION FUNDS. NEEDS: $1.5 MILLION!
We are looking for a few people to join the B.T.S. Operation Funds committee. This committee's purpose is to create ways to raise funds to operate the center.
The B.T.S. Community Art Center (B.T.S. -CAC) is a local, nonprofit organization, created to meet the artistic needs of the less fortunate children and young adults in Hernando County. The B.T.S. Community Art Center’s goal is to help close the gap of 14.8% poverty rate in the County by providing each month to at least 500 underserved children the right artistic tools to prevent them from being part of the 14.8% poverty rate.
The B.T.S. Community Art Center is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit status, making any donations exempt from federal income tax.
Therefore, we are looking for people with leadership skills and creativity to accept one of the positions mentioned above to join this committee. The members must have a great moral character in order to serve in the B.T.S. Committee because we want the members to be great examples for the children we will serve.
The volunteer must have experience in leadership and know about Hernando County's needs in order to help us raise funds to operate the center.
Each member will serve for one year and every quarter or (3 months) there will be a review among the members to see if the volunteer is getting along with everybody else. If the other members say they can't work with a certain volunteer then that person will be removed and replaced by another member, however, if that volunteer has made it through the first year, then he/she will be allowed to serve for another year or two. Once that second term is over, the volunteer can no longer serve on that committee but he/she can serve in a different committee if it is vacant.
